Kiwi Families Not Able to Spend Quality Time Due to Work Pressure Oct 2nd 2013, 12:41 Working parents confessed that staying those extra hours in the office has created tension in their family. By working more, people said it was difficult to be home for dinner or take part in hobbies or sporting events of children. Many were just too exhausted to spend time with family even during the weekends. "Our research showed that Kiwis have identified that lack of family time was a significant issue in their lives," says Hyundai General Manager Andy Sinclair. The research also showed that nearly 16 per cent of all working Kiwis were away from home at least once a month, with seven per cent of parents away from home at least once a week. "The results of the study show some of our most enduring memories of family time have occurred during road trips and travel to holiday destinations. It is often during these car rides that families have uninterrupted quality time together free from life's daily distractions," says Sinclair. Source-Medindia
