Man Who Paid for Two Plane Tickets Finds His Seats Were Two Rows Apart
Oct 18th 2013, 06:10

Les Price, from New Port in Wales, weighs around 518 pounds, more than the maximum limit of 280 pounds, which meant that he had to pay for two seats on his flight from Ireland. However when he got into the plane, he found that the seats were two rows apart. Price revealed that it is not the first time that he had faced problems when flying, adding that on his flight to Ireland, he was allocated an aisle seat and a window seat, with another passenger in the middle.

"When I got to the airport I had to explain to all the staff why I had two tickets. They didn't have a clue. When I finally got on the plane one was an aisle seat and the other was by the window in a three-seat row. On the way back from Ireland one seat was in row 17 and the other in row 19", he said.

Refusing to name the airline on which he traveled, Price said that he is determined to reduce his weight, which initially ballooned when he was not able to leave his house for three months after injuring his back while also admitting that he took to comfort eating following the death of his wife due to cancer.
