Over 120 Children and Two Adults Hospitalized Due to Food Poisoning in Russian School
Oct 19th 2013, 13:55

A case of food poisoning in a school cafeteria in the Russian city of Perm has so far led to 120 children and two adults being hospitalized.

From Wednesday to Friday, 123 students and two teachers have applied for medical assistance, said the office's press service.

Doctors said all these people were infected with salmonella after having dinner in their school's canteen.

Twenty-six children, two of them in grave condition, are still in hospital for further treatment, a doctor of the region's children hospital told reporters.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is being conducted.
