Katelyn Norman, of LaFollette, Tenn., is a 14-year-old girl who has been battling bone cancer for two years. Doctors informed her recently that she cannot survive the disease as the cancer has spread to her heart and spine.
When the world would have expected her to give up and remain melancholic, the teenager has surprised everyone by making a wish list of all she wants to do before her death. She is now busy executing each of her wishes everyday and truly living life as if there are no tomorrows.
Some of her wishes are to learn to dance, to drive a car, spend a day with each of her siblings and get a Marilyn Monroe piercing.
Erica Nelson, her mother, is trying her best to help her daughter enjoy all her wishes before her death.
"I just want to give her what she isn't going to see and just try to fulfill what she wants to do. It's not really much, but it's something to her," she said. "We're very grateful that they want to come help Katelyn. She's touched a lot of people."
