Late Margaret Thatcher Voted No.1 Prime Minister of Britain Till Date Apr 14th 2013, 10:52 An overwhelming 28 percent of people opted for Maggie as 'the greatest' out of 13 Prime Ministers Britain have had since 1945. Asked how they rated Thatcher's performance from 1979 to 1990, 52 percent of all those questioned felt she was 'great' or 'good' as compared to 30 percent who said she was 'poor' or 'terrible'. Being the first woman PM was judged to be her greatest success, followed by winning the Falklands War. Brits felt she also left the country better off, a lot more respected in the world, with a freer society and with more opportunities for women. The poll found that number two favourite of Britons was Winston Churchill, with 24 percent support followed by Tony Blair at 10 percent. Current PM David Cameron scored zero along with 1970s Tory leader Edward Heath. Source-ANI
