Gym Worker Who Refused to Enter Ladies Bathroom to Help Dying Woman Facing Lawsuit Jun 25th 2013, 17:55 Planet Fitness gym employee Sean Higgins was informed at 5.17 AM that Emily Hamlin, 22, had collapsed in the bathroom but he refused to see whether she required any help, stating that he was not supposed to go into ladies bathrooms and added that a female employee was supposed to come but he did not know when she would be coming. Higgins reportedly waited for four minutes before calling the emergency services and though they arrived within minutes, they were unable to save Ms Hamlin who was pronounced dead at 6.03 AM. In a sworn affidavit, Stephanie Dick, who informed Higgins about the situation, said, "He said he didn't know what to do and that he wasn't allowed to go into the ladies' bathroom. He said he was the only one working there and that a girl was expected to come in, but he didn't know when she would be there." Source-Medindia
