Think Before You Talk to a Single Mother Sep 8th 2013, 18:19 The Huffington Post has compiled a list of "innocent" things that should never be said to a single mum, as they might come across as inappropriate, offensive or just plain rude. First of all single parents should never be reassured saying that some day they will meet the right person. People should also not wonder out loud how single parents manage on their own, without the help of a partner or tell them that you wouldn't wish their condition on anybody. Don't tell a single mum that you are single mom just for a week because raising your children single handedly forever is different from on your own for a few days. However, single parents do appreciate little extra encouragement and positive feedback for their parenting skills. Source-ANI
