A most cruel quirk of fate that Sally is slowly coming to terms with began with the diagnosis of her 14 year old twin boy, Harry Parnell, with Hodgkin's lymphoma disease.
Just as Harry was rallying round after six months of chemotherapy, now his twin, George, has been struck down with the same illness.
'I've cried but I have to carry on with life,' said Ms Hyde of the diagnosis.
When Harry's the twin brother, George came back one day with a similar lump; his mother instantly knew it was the same illness.
'It's still a massive shock but I feel more prepared this time as I know what to expect,' said Ms Hyde, a cleaner.
The boys are not beaten and instead have converted their fight against cancer into something positive like starting a fundraising drive for Cancer Research.
'I'm proud of my sons with how they cope,' said their mother.
